Sho received his Ph. D. at Kyoto University under the guidance of Professor Hideaki Kakeya. He is currently developing chemical tools for understanding protein-protein interactions in type I PKS.
An received his Ph. D. at Kochi University of Technology in Japan under the guidance of Professor Ryuichi Sugimoto. His research involves designing and developing new materials from available renewable feedstocks to address new opportunities for future applications.
Ashay received his Ph. D. at the University of California, Los Angeles under the guidance of Professor Ken Houk. His research focuses on using computer simulations to determine a time-resolved understanding of the molecular mechanisms and protein-protein interactions that direct carrier protein-dependent biosyntheses.
Jeff received his B. S. in chemical biology at the University of California, Berkeley. His research focuses on studying Chlamydomonas reinhardtii FAS protein-protein interactions for natural product engineering.
Thomas received his B. S. in biochemistry and molecular biology at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. He is currently studying the protein-protein interactions essential to fatty acid biosynthesis through a combination of experimental and computational methods.
Jeff received his B. S. in biochemistry at the University of Texas, Houston. His research focuses on structurally elucidating and biochemically characterizing acyl carrier protein-mediated protein-protein interactions in fatty acid and polyketide biosynthesis.
Warren received his B. S. in chemistry at Washington University in St. Louis. His research focuses on the synthesis and development of spliceosome inhibitors for mechanistic insight and clinical application.
Katia received her B. A. in biophysics at Johns Hopkins University. She is currently developing fluorescent-based assays towards antibiotic discovery and is also involved in the synthesis of isotopically labeled chemical tools for protein-protein interactions.
Kelsey received her B. S. in chemistry at the University of California, San Diego. Her research focuses on designing and application of small molecule splicing inhibitors as biological tools and anticancer therapeutics.
Aochiu received his B. S. in chemistry at the National Taiwan University. His research focuses on studying the enzymology and structure of type II fatty acid and polyketide synthases.
Terra received her B. S. in chemistry at the University of California, Los Angeles. Her research focuses on using computation and NMR to understand the communication mechanisms used by acyl carrier protein to guide engineering.
Brianna received her B. S. in chemistry at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. She is currently working on developing small molecules to probe melanin biosynthesis, as well as working on probing interactions in type I polyketide synthases.
Josh received his B. S. in chemistry at the University of California, San Diego. His research focuses on structurally analyzing the protein-protein interface of the peptidyl carrier protein and adenylation domain in type II nonribosomal peptide synthetases.
